I want to look into the film hunger games, it comes out on the 23rd of march 2012 and shows a lot of promise

This film is set in a future where the Capitol of a divided and opressed America selects a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television, Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister's place for the latest match.
Synopsis
In a not-too-distant future, North America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected at random to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss' young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.
i have chosen this up and coming film because i believe that it shows a lot of promise. i have always liked films that are remakes of books, and how well the producer brings across the same detail and quality. as i have said above this film comes out on the 23rd of march 2012.

Interviews
a short interview with Wes Bently who plays the producer of the T.V. program that the film is based on
this is a really nice interview which tells us a lot about not only the actor josh Hutchenson and his character but also the casting of the actors and actresses to fit together to give it the emotional feel that this film needs. as well as all of this depth Josh speaks of his bakery skills.
this is an interview with the actress Jennifer Lawrence where she decribes the difficulties behind becomeing katniss everdeen.
